2024 Project Milestones

A 5 hr-5 wk paid internship for adolescents ages 12-17 to learn professional etiquette online & in-person.

*Awarded the 2024 Program Initiative Grant on 6/27 for Mental & Behavioral Developmental Studies

An 8-week interactive series specifically designed to be modified and adapted for maximum resonance with colleges and universities first year students. Each week’s agenda and activity is led by personally voted associates to ensure integration of language, examples, values, and concepts that match the social norms of set campuses.

*Awarded Best Educational Program of Academic Year 2018-2019 by Saint Leo University Student Govern Union (SGU).

A monthly campaign to eliminate isolation with baby boomers & reduce the generational gap affecting community development.

UPON MEMBERSHIP LAUNCH Any ICARE Associate can send/request a Senior Wellness Visit for an ICARE Demonstrator in area to personally deliver a customized ICARE Kit to those going unseen, unheard, and/or socially detached.

Boys 2 Men Coaching Scholarship offered to nominated males struggling to overcome the adversity and opposition associated with identity.

 

In-person supervision and online technical assistance to assist the fathers, brothers, and sons of ICARE Communities in proactive behaviors that model and endorse the ICARE Values.

ICARE Cooperation Contracts for youth and adults (families) to permanently reduce the risks associated with the 4 agents of culture change and support employed ICARE values in individualized collaborations with local museums, churches, recreational centers, corner stores, bars, restaurants, bankers, volunteer/support groups, small businesses, hospitals, and self-identified organizations across the social spectrum.

The key is to provide diverse opportunities/experiences so that certified members have options for engagement that feel realistic and manageable in their daily lives.
